A Place to Find Free Clipart and Photos!

Hello! Welcome! If you are like me, you want your website, PowerPoint, or anything else that you make to be full of life and "cute"! Sometimes, however, adding someone else's clipart can be tricky. Copyright is sometimes difficult to understand even if you don't mean to break the rules. Since we are teachers and students, I have found some websites that allow us to use their clipart for free. (Some also ask that you give credit or hyperlink back to their site!)

1. Discovery Education
has tons of free clipart for you to use!
It gives you all the information you need to cite: "Clip art licensed from the Clip Art Gallery on DiscoverySchool.com" Note: There is a special copyright page telling you exactly what you have to do to use these images- simply give credit and link to Discoveryschool.com!

2. Classroom Clipart
Can be used by students and teachers for educational purposes. Notice the watermark at the very bottom of the images. Terms of Use of the Classroom Clipart Policy (states that the clipart can be used for educational purposes by teachers and students).

3. Pics4Learning
Want real pictures? Pics4Learning has already granted students and teachers access to use these images (read about it on the left hand side of the page).

4. School Clipart
Permission has already been granted for teachers and students to use these images on their assignments and websites that pertain to education. All you have to do is give credit by saying that the image came from www.school-clip-art.com and provide a link back to it (the link is already set up for you- just copy and paste it!)

5. Reusable Clipart
Like older photos or clipart? The clipart and photos provided on this website have expired their copyright, so you can use them for free!

6. Teacher Files.com
This site has free educational clipart to teachers and students. Its also has dividers, times and clocks, 3D shapes, and even a Word Art Generator. This site is actually compiled of different clipart sites that claim to be “free.” This website has done the research for you, but asks that if you find where copyright is prohibited on a certain site that they have provided, please let them know! Remember- copyright is a sticky thing, we all have to help each other!

7. Free Public Domain Images
It says it specifically: “not copyrighted pictures, no rights reserved, royalty free stock photos free for commercial or private use.” Plus, the images are really cool!

8. Teachnet
This website also provides free clipart images, you just have to make sure to give them credit and provide a link back to their website. They already give you the link! All you have to do is copy and paste it!

9. Toon Art
While the clipart here cannot be used for commercial products without permission, there is a disclaimer at the very top of the webpage giving permission to be used for personal websites and projects!

10. The Kidz Page
This clipart page is designed just for you! The clipart images are made to be used by kids on their personal sites or projects as well as family-friendly websites. It is asked that you provide an icon to link back to their webpage, but all you have to do is copy and paste the code.
